This is a hot item lately and always will be I suppose. Who wouldn't want to jump to the front of the line and start raking in the traffic.  In most cases these types of SEO companies are offering you a pay per click model that will get you to the top of the rankings but not the organic search traffic which is a result of on page optimization, off page quality incoming links, blogging and article submission.

I know that's a lot in one mouth full but it is what it is.  There are some companies that use very black hat tactics to achieve an organic ranking but in my experience this kind of stuff will get your site banned from Google and the other major search engines when it is discovered.
