Overture Pay Per Click, Keyword Relevancy
Anyone remember when you could submit your site to Overture and get just about any keyword that was related to your site apporved? Yep, those days are gone. Your website has to closely related and have relevancy to the keywords your trying to bid on.
I think some of the editors are brain dead when they looked at a couple of my submissions lately. It may be that I just submitted the quote request page and that has very little content. The brain dead part comes in when I've bid on "credit card debt" for example and the quote request is for people with too much credit card debt and they need help. They said it lacked relevant content. grrr.
Since I'm doing pay per click there is no way I'm going to send a prospect to another page and then ask them to click for a quote. The conversion drops way down. This may be just a pendalum swing toward too strict a standard for keyword relevancy, but for now I'm off to greener pastures. Google Adwords
So, try to work your keywords into the page your submitting and you stand a better chance of passing Overture's Pay Per Click, Keyword Relevancy test.
