Blogging, What Do I Blog About?

The cold hard picture for Internet marketing today is Blogging is a must. If your like me, quite and not liking the spot lite very much your reluctant to do it. After all what the heck do I blog about.  In my case I try to stick to internet marketing related topics and since there are so many of those, I have no lack of materials to draw upon.

If you plan to use AdSense on your blog stay out of politics. They don't like controversial stuff like that. On the up-side what do you know about? If you can talk to your friends about something then you can blog it. Share what you know, who reads this stuff anyway? I'm probably talking to myself right now and no-one will ever read this or even care if they do happen to read it.

What will people think of what you say? You can bet there will be someone that will think your and idiot so just get the thought of being loved and accepted out of your head. It actually helps to fuel additional participation and dialog in your blog when people flame you in the comments.

I love the spelling and grammar junkies, there really are people that find purpose in correcting spelling and grammar errors. Bless their hearts.

So back to what to blog about. It's your blog and anything that interests you is fair game. It doesn't have to educate or enlighten or add anything of value to the reader. Just start doing it and you will find a direction that fulfills your need. Once a week is a typical posting schedule but several times can get you a readership faster.

I find my writing skills improving and the thought process comes easier. OK here's a brief idea list for blogging.

Choosing your niche… depending on what your blog purpose is you should be focused on your passion.
Choosing keywords … keywords are important in the name of your blog especially for marketing your blog
Choosing a domain … if you blog from your own domain pick something with blog related keywords
Monetization Strategies …. Selling your own products?  Or affiliate programs?
Free Blog Hosting at …. blogger.com

To much information is not good so even though I could go on, this will be enough. To use the Nike slogan "Just Do It" My thinking is "Get Busy"
