The Law of Attraction - The Secret
The movie, "The Secret" is based on the laws of attraction. I have seen some negative feedback and crackpottery. I liked it.
Here an oppinion I have, a comparison if you would. The cost of the video $30? How much do you spend for some fun on a night out?
I have spent a lot more on stuff that was far less beneficial to my mental and emotional well being. Enough said?
Yes, it is a movie that makes you feel good and sparks those happy thoughts. Hope and excitement for life return and the cycle of the everyday stress, anxiety or depression is broken. It's worth the price of the video.
Eventually the mind may fall back into the same old routine of worry, stress, anxiety, fear and depression.
Everyone that wants success must believe it is possible.
I think the movie is a great starting place to understanding that our thoughts do effect the world around us. We see evidence of that in people around us everyday.
"As a man thinks in his heart so is he."
The real battle in life is in the mind. Positive thinking is just as hard to "work on" as working for a living.
It's not crazy hookie pookie or a scam.
Do negative or loud angry people attract you? They are attracting something themselves but it would not be me.
Negative people have negative thought lives and that kind of "vibe" will effect others.
We pay $10 bucks to watch a movie and we get a couple of hours of relief or distraction from life. If it's a good movie you get maybe a few hours of benefit.
This movies effects on people has lasting effects far beyond a couple of hours.
I have pictures of my twins and my wife and I focus on them. I remind myself of all the happy things in my life to be grateful for.
The task of generating good feelings and positive mental attitude is not always easy.
Thinking of the things you are grateful for is always a good starting point.
If there is something to what is said about attracting what you are thinking it's a good thing that negative thoughts are not immediately rewarded in kind.
The use of positive visualization and contemplation has been around for thousands of years.
"What so ever is good think on these things" is a paraphrased quote from the bible.
There is no way to deny that what you think effects what is attracted to you. Mean angry people attract to each other and the evil that comes with that way of thinking will find/follow them and you if you run with this crowd.
How to make more money with the limited ceiling of income your job holds.
Intend it to happen. Tell yourself that you are expecting $10,000 unexpected income in the next 60 days. Pretty cool if you actually did get and unexpected opportunity. Or even someone actually giving you the money.
One thing for sure if you don't intend it and start to think prosperity nothing will come to you.
When I think to myself I can't afford something I stop dead in my tracks and reverse that thought.
I call it poverty thinking. If you think you can't you can't. Nothing but good can come from thinking positive and forcing your mind to think prosperity.
You can if you think you can. If you think you can't, you can't.
In my personal life I also have faith. Faith in God. When I focus on being grateful, he is my focus, my source.
Prosperity can happen to you. I made over 250k taxable income. When I was making $8hr I could not have dreamed that I, "little ole me", ME would some day make that kind of money.
So in conclusion, the negative attack on the movie as a scam was made in ignorance. If that kind of thinking make you happy, I'm sure that the laws of attraction will surround you with like minded people.
I'm believing for unimaginable abundance and an overflow so big I can not hold it all. I expect it, I see myself as already possessing that which I am believing for.
